# YANG

NetConf/YANG is defined by O-RAN Alliance Interface Spcification v2 as protocol
for Configuration Management for FCAPS functions (accept the A: Accounting) for
the disaggregated RAN.

As some of the data models in working progress subfolders are used to 
distinglish "working" and "published". The folder "sim" is used exclusively 
by the 
[O-RAN-SC SIM project](https://wiki.o-ran-sc.org/display/SIM/SIM?src=sidebar) 
project.
