   8 The 'Maintenance' application on OpenDaylight provides information about
   9 planned maintenances of Network Elements, currently or in the future.
  10 Users can manage devices to set the maintenance mode so that no
  11 unnecessary alarms are created. When the device is in maintenance mode,
  12 alarms are not forwarded to DCAE. As soon as the maintenance is
  13 finished, the alarms will start flowing again.

  15 The 'active' field in the table shows if the Network Element is
  16 currently in maintenance mode or not. If it is 'active' it means the
  17 Network Element is currently undergoing maintenance, if 'not active' it
  18 means maintenance might have been set for a future date or is already
  19 completed.

  21 Users can disable the maintenance mode or change its start and end dates
  22 by using the available options in the actions column.
